Trinity Lutheran Church is delighted to announce the return of its much-loved Nativities from Around the Globe Celebration, an enchanting exhibition featuring more than 80 unique nativity scenes crafted by artists from cultures across the world. This free, family-friendly event will be open to the public from 1–3 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7.
“It is wonderful to see how the Christmas story is depicted by artists from all over the world,” said Pastor Emmanuel Penumaka. “Whether made from banana leaves or oyster shells, wood or fine porcelain, each nativity tells a story that reflects the heart of the artist’s culture.”
Back for its second year, the celebration offers visitors an inspiring way to begin the Advent season. Guests will discover nativity sets in all shapes, sizes, and textures—crafted from shells, plant leaves, eggs, stones, nuts, pine needles, seed pods, ceramics, and a variety of woods. Some scenes even feature delightful and unexpected animals not typically found in traditional depictions. Children will also enjoy a special interactive nativity designed just for them.
The exhibition will be held in the church’s Fellowship Hall at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2625 Elm Swamp Road, Lebanon. The venue is fully handicapped accessible, and all ages are warmly welcomed.
For families, art lovers, and community members seeking a meaningful and uplifting start to the season, Nativities from Around the Globe promises a memorable and heartwarming experience.
