Ohio faces a pivotal election year, with the primary approaching on May 5 and major state and federal offices on the ballot in November. At the same time, recent state legislation and emerging federal proposals are reshaping how Ohioans register and vote. For many, it’s becoming harder to keep track of what has changed - and what it means for their vote.
The League of Women Voters – Canton Area invites the public to a community forum designed to bring clarity to these issues. The program will explore the role of primary elections, current voting security and integrity measures, and the impact of recent legislative changes in Ohio. It will also address federal pressures that could influence voting rights in the coming years.
Featured speakers include members of the Stark County Board of Elections, as well as a constitutional law expert.
Private security will be on-site throughout the event, both in the parking area and inside the venue.
