Bach's St. John Passion


After December's sold-out performance of Handel's Messiah, the Burlington Baroque Festival Singers are returning to Hudson with L'Harmonie des saisons, Montreal's Juno Award-winning period instrument orchestra. With internationally-acclaimed vocal soloists, River Valley Baroque is thrilled to present this urgent, human, and thrilling performance at Christ Church Episcopal. The Burlington Baroque Festival Singers have presented thirteen sold-out performances of baroque masterworks since their founding for the First Annual Burlington Baroque Festival in 2023. Works presented by the vocal ensemble have included Bach's St. John Passion, Bach's Magnificat, Handel's Ode to St. Cecilia, Purcell's Welcome to All the Pleasures, Charpentier's Te Deum and Magnificat, and Monteverdi's Vespers.
