Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church

SCHENECTADY -- Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church invites the community to rediscover the heart of the Christian message this Lent through a new worship series titled Tell Me Something Good. "In a world often filled with headlines of fear, division, and uncertainty, this six-week series explores the surprising and hope-filled ways the Gospel still speaks good news into our everyday lives," said Pastor Katelyn Bradwell. Drawing from familiar Gospel stories—like water turned into wine, seeds that grow into sheltering trees, and bread shared among hungry crowds—each week will reflect on how God’s grace shows up not only in dramatic moments, but also in quiet acts of care, community, and renewal. Together, the congregation will consider what it means to live as “good news people” in challenging times, trusting that even when hope feels scarce, God’s love continues to multiply what we have. On Sundays at 10 a.m. throughout the Lenten season, the congregation invites the community to join EPUMC in seeking signs of joy, belonging, and grace often found where they are least expected. The church is located at 943 Palmer Ave., and services are live-streamed on the church website at https://www.easternparkwayumc.com/video.
