48th Annual St. George Greek Festival
St. George Greek Orthodox Church in downtown Schenectady will hold its 48th Annual Greek Festival September 6-7-8, 2024. Friday and Saturday 11 am-11 pm and Sunday 11 am-3 pm. This is an exciting event for the whole family! The three-day festival features delicious homemade Greek food including lamb shanks, moussaka, spanakopita, pastitsio, and souvlaki and mouthwatering pastries including baklava, kataifi, and loukoumathes. Live music by Prometheus, folk dancing by St. George Hellenic Dancers, arts and crafts, church tours and all new raffles. Rain or shine! All the fun takes place inside the Hellenic Center, 510 Liberty Street, Schenectady (across from the public library) and outdoors under the large tents. Admission is free.
