Kids Day on Peebles Island
Activities on our beautiful island will be in the Visitor's Center, the Pavilion and on the grounds. A variety of nature crafts, a guided walk to a vernal pond and bird house building are part of the fun. There is also a self-guided Storywalk and visits by local libraries. Fishing rod casting, and archery and kayak demonstrations will be provided by a local pro shop. Free fishing rods will be available. All activities are open to the public and free (while supplies last). The event will be held rain or shine. Boots or old shoes are recommended. Kids Day is sponsored by Friends of Peebles Island.
