MOONSTRUCK w/Special Guest: Cher biographer, Josiah Howard
A massive hit from director Norman Jewison ("Fiddler on the Roof"), Cher’s portrayal of Italian-American widow, Loretta Castori, won her an Academy Award for Best Actress. Believing herself unlucky in love, Loretta accepts a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Johnny (Danny Aiello), even though she doesn’t love him. When she meets Johnny’s estranged younger brother, Ronny (Nicolas Cage), an impulsive and passionate man, she finds herself drawn to him. And he to her.
