Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit 50th Anniversary Spring Concert
Celebrate 50 years of "Music, Marching and Memories" with the Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit at its 50th Anniversary Spring Concert, featuring guest conductor Travis J. Weller. Musical selections played in the early years of the Marching Unit will include "MacArthur Park" "Man of La Mancha" and "Official West Point March". The Band front of twirlers, rifles and flags will perform to "St. Louis Blues March", "Theme from 'Star Trek Generations" and Arlen R. Saylor's "United Services Medley". Dr. Weller - a popular composer, clinician and professor at Messiah College - will direct three of his compositions: "The Wellerman Come", "American Visions" and the world premiere of a piece commissioned by the Marching Unit for the event, "Golden Festival Overture."
