Alzheimer’s Support Group to focus on caring for loved ones at home
Senior care experts at Chestnut Knoll will host a monthly Alzheimer’s Support Group, a program of the Alzheimer’s Association, for family caregivers and families navigating the journey of dementia. The group offers an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and gain guidance in a supportive environment. The group will meet on Thursday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. at Chestnut Knoll, 120 W. Fifth St., in Boyertown.
Linda Detwiler, director of Chestnut Knoll At Home Services, will present “Caring for Loved Ones at Home: Resources and Guidance,” sharing valuable information about community resources and support options with an emphasis on how to recognize when extra help may be needed in the home, what types of services are available, and how to navigate the process of finding reliable, compassionate care tailored to those living with memory-related conditions.
