The Emmaus Garden Club's 2025 Flower Show, titled "Bounty 'n Bloom," will showcase the talents of local gardeners, floral designers, and amateur photographers.
The horticulture exhibits will include a wide variety of cut specimens of flowering annuals, perennials, biennials, bulbs, rhizomes, and tubers, as well as foliage, flowering woody plants, and berried branches. A variety of fruits and vegetables will also be displayed alongside container-grown plants, herb bouquets, dish gardens, and artisitc arrangements that highlight the harvest bounty. All entries must have been owned and grown by the exhibitor for a minimum of three months prior to the exhibition.
Floral design exhibits will feature three different design classes:
1. The miniature design class will include dried and/or fresh plant materials contained within a space no larger than 5"x5"x5", themed "It's a Small World."
2. The parallel design class will showcase fresh plant materials arranged in strongly parallel groupings, which can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal, with a minimum of three distinct groupings. The theme for this class will be "Garden Parade."
3. The traditional mass designs will follow the theme "Autumn Splendor" and will consist of fresh and/or dried floral materials organized in a naturalistic manner, displayed on a pedestal.
Additionally, there will be a photography exhibit titled "The Art of Photography." This exhibit will comprise four distinct subject areas. All photographs must be 8x10 color prints taken by amateur photographers, showcasing their unique vision of nature's beauty:
- "Bounty 'n Bloom" will focus on a bloom or part of a bloom.
- "Nature's Lens" will capture a landscape scene.
- "Harvest Bounty" will feature fruits and/or vegetables.
- "Seasons" will represent a specific season of the photographer's choice.
The members of the Emmaus Garden Club eagerly anticipate celebrating the beauty of nature through a variety of exhibits and welcome you to join us in honoring the fruits of our gardening experiences.
