Get Out! For Wellness: Join us on the Elephant Trail Hike at Lake Nockamixon State Park!
As we explore trails in Nockamixon, Elephant Trail provides a mostly level hike along the lake shore. This is a long skinny loop, almost an out-and-back trail, over mostly grassy woods roads. It’s rated “easiest hiking.” If you don’t want to do the entire hike, you can turn back at several short cross-over trails and return to the parking lot. Depending on recent rainfall, there can be a few muddy spots.
