Step into history with this hands-on workshop series inspired by Read This! The History of Media in Northampton County exhibition at Sigal Museum. Discover the traditional crafts that shaped how people created, communicated, and shared knowledge.
This three-part series explores printmaking, papermaking, and bookbinding—no experience necessary. Attend individual sessions or choose the “All Access Pass” to complete a one-of-a-kind handmade book from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll carve and print your own design, make and marble paper, and bind it all together using historic techniques.
Part craft workshop, part history lab, this series offers a unique opportunity to create something beautiful while connecting with the past in a meaningful, hands-on way.

$25 per workshop (free for active NCHGS Members)
