Banshee

Inspired by the author’s lifelong interest in Irish history and folklore, “Banshee” tells the story of Nancy Donough, a farmer in 18th-century Ireland who dreams of greatness. Instead, she is haunted by the call of a supernatural spirit that echoes through the generations, and a vision that could have deadly consequences. “Banshee” is directed by Jody Reppert and stage-managed by Sean Sassaman. The play features original music by Marty Bonk and choreography by Jessica Warchal-King of JCWK Dance Lab. The play runs about two hours with an intermission. Performances are May 1 at 7:30 p.m., May 2 at 1 p.m. and May 3 at 2 p.m., and May 8-9 at 7:30 p.m. and May 10 at 2 p.m. A talkback follows each performance. Tickets are Pay What You Will, including $0, with a recommended price of $25 and a pay-it-forward price of $50.
