Collective Soul, Drivin’ N’ Cryin’, Ben Folds, and the Spin Doctors. Some of more notable performance included 2 billings at Music Midtown in Atlanta (1999,2001), Nashville River Stages (2001), and 99x On the Bricks (2001) at Olympic Centennial Park in Atlanta. After years of touring, three studio albums, and the successful double live album release on Phoenix Rising Records “A Tour of Two Cities”, in 2001, Soup was named “artist of the Week” and were voted #1 Artist on Billboard Talent Net. There original single “Papasan Chair” was also #2 on the Billboard Talent Net radio chart. In November of 2024 Soup returned to the stage at Smith’s Old Bar for a 30th anniversary show selling out the venue 6 weeks prior to the show. Based on the response, Soup has returned to the road performing at festivals and in the college towns that built their following years ago. Soup’s entire remastered studio catalog is currently available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. The band will also be releasing live sound board recordings of over 20 of their most notable live performances from their touring days.
