Airport Director To Discuss ACY’s Future At June 15 PR Council of Greater AC Meeting

LINWOOD--When Spirit Airlines, Atlantic City International Airport’s (ACY) longtime flagship carrier, ceased Operations May 2, it sent shockwaves through the region’s travel industry and left airport leaders navigating uncertainty in real time. At the PR Council of Greater Atlantic City’s June 15 luncheon meeting, attendees will hear from Timothy Kroll, ACY Airport Director, about how the airport quickly pivoted during a chaotic and fast-moving situation — and how strategic communications efforts, with Visit Atlantic City’s assistance, helped reassure travelers, partners and the community. While saying goodbye to Spirit marked the end of an era for ACY, the airport is already looking ahead. Kroll will share insight into ACY’s future plans, including new opportunities with Breeze Airways and expanded route offerings designed to strengthen travel access for the region. The lunch, open to the public, runs 11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. at Linwood Country Club. Cost for the luncheon is $45 for members and $60 for non-members with a reservation. Walk-ins are charged an additional $5. Reservation deadline is Friday, June 12. To register, visit: https://tinyurl.com/5dhdmxw2.
