Matt began playing the clubs of Boston in high school. Since 2022, he's performed over 500 concerts performing classic country music from as far north as Toronto and south as Nashville. In both 2022 and 2023, Matt was nominated for the Boston Music Award for Best Country Artist. His most recent album, Gently Used, was named one of the top albums by the Patriot Ledger in 2024.
Matt has written two books -- The Words and Wisdom of Willie Nelson and The Highwaymen: Songs & Stories -- that include stories about his own travels and stories about the performers he's picked up along the way.
