The Beasts of Burren Rolling Stones Tribute in Honor of Charles Daniels
Join us on January 27 at the Burren Back Room for a celebration of beloved photographer and friend to all, Charles Daniels. We will honor his memory with some of his favorite things: good cheer, music, and photography. Suggested donation of $10-20 to benefit the continued work of archiving Charles' many rolls of film.
Photographer Charles Daniels (1942-2024) lived and worked at the center of the Boston, Massachusetts music scene from the 1960s forward. As emcee of the seminal rock club the Boston Tea Party, and on-air talent at the pioneering rock n roll radio station WBCN, Charles was at the right place at the right time, usually armed with two cameras. He shot the Rolling Stones, the Faces, Aerosmith, and many, many more. Today, the Charles Daniels Foundation continues the work of processing, preserving and showcasing Charles’ voluminous body of work and remarkable life. Thanks to over 1500 donors, we have raised nearly $100,000 to continue our work via this GoFundMe. Join us for this night of celebration and remembrance.
