Signature Campaign & Election 2026
Ms President US invites you to join us for our Signature Campaign and Election, taking place on Sunday, April 6th, at the Clune Center for the Arts at Wilton High School.
This inspiring event will showcase the next generation of female leaders from 12 Connecticut towns (Bethel, Bridgeport, Danbury, Fairfield, Hamden, Monroe, New Haven, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Westport, Wilton, and Woodbridge) as they present their campaign platforms in a bid to be elected Ms President US of their respective communities.
The candidates’ powerful platforms will cover critical issues including Social Media Overuse, Teen Mental Health, and School Lunch Policies, and more.
The Ms President US program educates young girls in leadership, public speaking, and civic engagement. Throughout the program, participants develop their platforms, learn from influential guest speakers and elected officials, and gain confidence in their ability to lead.
The culminating election event will give the audience the power to vote and determine the winners from each participating town. “We are excited to provide this opportunity for girls to step into leadership roles and experience the electoral process firsthand,” said Amanda Cordano, Executive Director. “By encouraging civic participation at a young age, we are helping to build the future leaders of our communities and beyond.”
The event is free and open to the public, thanks to Eversource(title sponsor), The Center for Empowerment and Education (gold sponsor), and Dr. Blaine Langberg, Orthodontist (silver sponsor).
