New Pond Farm Education Center will host its inaugural **Hayfield Hustle** on Saturday, September 26, 2026, inviting runners and walkers to experience a scenic fall race on the farm’s 102-acre property. The **Children’s Sap Run** begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the **5K and scenic 5-mile race at 10 a.m.** Race registration includes admission to the Family Oktoberfest, with early access beginning at noon. Following the races, participants are invited to stay for an afternoon of fall activities, including live local music, wagon rides, a property-wide Discovery Challenge Scavenger Hunt, farm animals, children’s crafts, lawn games, local food, craft beer, and Ferris Acres Creamery ice cream. All proceeds from the Hayfield Hustle support New Pond Farm’s mission of environmental education, conservation, and sustainable agriculture.
