Bugonia will be the 3rd film in the 13th Annual Academy Awards Film Series at the Englewood Library on Thursday, April 30, at 2 p.m. in the library’s Room 2. The film series will continue each Thursday through May 28 at 2 p.m.
In this film, two conspiracy-obsessed young men (Jesse Plemons and Aidan Delbis) kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company (Emma Stone), convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.
This Yorgos Lanthimos-directed film received 4 Academy Award nominations. Bugonia is rated R, and the running time for the film is 118 minutes.
