Manhattanville Hosts Jorge Iber Book Talk
The Sport Knowledge Institute (SKI) at Manhattanville University welcomes historian Jorge Iber, Ph.D., for a compelling book talk and community conversation on The Sanchez Family: Mexican American High School and Collegiate Wrestlers from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Drawing from rich family history and cultural analysis, Iber explores how wrestling shaped generations of the Sánchez family — including Manhattanville University President Frank Sánchez, Ph.D. — illuminating powerful themes of education, identity, discipline, and social mobility.
