Honoring the soldiers from long ago
. A commemoration of Memorial Day, beginning with an 11 am ceremony in the church, and followed by a tour, with flowers and flags, of the historic cemetery, exploring the lives and services of many of the veterans buried at the site. We will present special honors to Major Charles Turnbull who served in the artillery of the Continental Army during the revolutionary War. Descendants of Major Turnbull will be part of the commemoration. At 1:30 PM, there will be a performance, and sing along, of songs of the American Revolution and the Civil War.
