Spend your Thursday evening at the Market at the Martin House, a weekly farmers market held on the beautiful, historic grounds of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House in Buffalo.
Every Thursday from 5–8 PM, June 25 through September 24, the market brings together a thoughtfully curated group of Western New York farmers, food producers, and makers. Shop for seasonal produce, farm-fresh eggs, artisan breads and baked goods, local honey, flowers, specialty foods, handmade pierogi, fresh-pressed juice, goat cheese, botanical body care, ceramics, housewares, and other locally made goods. The lineup varies from week to week, so there is always something new to discover.
Come for groceries, stay for dinner. Local food vendors offer options like sandwiches, sweet and savory crêpes, baked goods, fresh drinks, and other seasonal treats. Pick up dinner and enjoy it on the grounds, or bring a picnic blanket and make an evening of it.
The market takes place alongside Wright Nights, the Martin House’s Thursday evening programming. Depending on the week, visitors can enjoy live music, guided tours, workshops, family activities, and other special events. The campus also offers beautiful gardens and lawns to explore, along with the Martin House gift shop and the new Statler Café by Green Eats Buffalo.
More than a place to shop, the market is a chance to spend time with neighbors, meet the people behind local food and handmade goods, and enjoy a summer evening in one of Buffalo’s most beautiful settings.
