Cutting Board Woodworking Class
In this Woodshop class, you'll craft a beautiful hardwood cutting board using a variety of different wood types! You'll get hands-on experience with the planer, table saw, router, and sander while learning the skills and techniques needed to bring your cutting board to life. Your wood will come pre-glued and ready to shape, so you can focus on building your skills and making something you'll be proud to take home!
Things You Will Learn:
How to safely operate the planer, table saw, router, and sander
How to match wood properties to their intended use
How to select and work with a variety of wood types
Which types of glue to use in woodworking and when to use them
How to apply and maintain finishes — including which ones are food-safe
How to complete a woodworking project from start to finish

Safety: Close toed shoes are required.PPE such as masks, eye and ear protection will be provided.
Class Cost: $130 (materials fee included)
Class Size: Min 4/ Max 6
Ages: 18+
Notice: This class needs to meet the minimum enrollment in order to run. Participants will be notified of cancellation the Monday prior to the class if needed. In case of cancellation, participants can choose another scheduled date if available or request a refund.
