BELL TOWER KICKS ‘RUN LIKE A KID’ 5K
Bell Tower, a landmark shopping, dining and entertainment destination centrally located in Fort Myers, Florida (https://www.belltowerfl.com), invites the community to participate in its “Run Like A Kid” 5K, a playful race that encourages participants to dress as their favorite childhood character for a morning of fitness, laughter and community spirit. Taking place Saturday, February 21st, the event will include two race options: a 5K beginning at 8 a.m. and a 1-mile race beginning at 8:10 a.m. Part of the 2026 #RunBellTower race series, the Run Like a Kid races will benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital and its Barbara’s Friends program, supporting essential programs and services for children throughout the community. Hundreds of runners are expected, with organizers aiming to surpass last year’s $2,000 fundraising total. Participants will receive race shirts and finisher medals, and awards will be presented to first-, second- and third-place overall male and female finishers, as well as male and female age-group winners based on net chip time. The family-friendly course will take runners through Bell Tower Shops, featuring lively decorations, music and festive surprises along the way, and is designed for competitive runners, casual joggers and families alike.
