PG BOAT CLUB WINTER MEMBERSHIP SPECIAL IS ON FIRE!
Punta Gorda Boat Club is located at 802 W. Retta Esplanade, Punta Gorda, FL, on beautiful Charotte Harbor. The club began in 1951 and has a long history with Punta Gorda, including much to promote tourism to the city. The murals on the front of the building tell the history - boating, sailing, kayaking, regattas, boat raft ups, social events, and being a part of the Punta Gorda history murals walk.
PG Boat Club membership is eligible to those with a registered water vessel, and those who own kayaks. Each month we hold fun and exciting activities, many of them - monthly cruises (day and overnight), kayaking (local and County-wide), dinners, theme parties, an annual formal Commodores’ Ball (entertainment, dancing, chef's creations), sunset socials, picnics, and barbecues. We are, indeed, a Social Club.
And, we give back to the community with the S.T.A.R. (special training and rehabilitation) cruise and luncheon, Adopt-A-Shore, Coastal Cleanup, and Salvation Army Bell- Ringing. We offer regular use of the building to other users such as Punta Gorda Sailing Club and Gulf Shore Sailing School, formerly known as Learn to Sail. The Punta Gorda Boat Club is not only a happy bunch of fun-loving boaters - we are also a happy bunch of responsible members of our Charlotte County Community, dedicated to community services, and we strive to fulfill that commitment through contributions to safe and super-fun boating, fishing, related water events, support of charitable organizations, education, and preserving the environment.
