Theatre Conspiracy proudly presents the world premiere of Sharing the Same Umbrella by local playwright Wayne Keller, on stage August 22–31, with a special preview performance on August 21.
A year after her husband’s death, Helen’s sister and friends hatch a plan to get her life back on track. When a surprise ambush fails, the friends persevere with plot after plot until Phred, the mystery man, arrives.
Directed by Producing Artistic Director Bill Taylor, and featuring Seth Abrahms (Phred), Lauren Miller (Diana), Shelley Sanders (Sophia), and Lucy Sundby (Helen) Sharing the Same Umbrella is deeply human, unexpectedly funny, and filled with emotional punch. It tackles love and loss with compassion and humor, proving that life, and perhaps even love, after loss is possible.
