Winner of four Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Best Off-Broadway Musical, the show stars the Little Sisters of Hoboken, who are in a crisis at the play’s start following a catastrophic kitchen mishap involving botulism. Led by the Mother Superior, a former circus performer, the nuns frantically stage a talent show to raise funds for the burials of their deceased sisters and discover a love for the spotlight! The heavenly cast includes Diane Gilbert as Sister Mary Regina, the Rev. Mother, Era-Victoria McKinney Bookman as Sister Hubert, Mistress of the Novices, with Heather Miller as the charmingly forgetful Sister Amnesia. Sophia Jones portrays street-wise Sister Robert Anne, and Catherine Kelley assumes the role of wannabe ballerina, Sister Leo. The show is directed by Donna Wilson with musical direction by Greg Boatwright, choreography by Nicole Hardenbergh and technical direction by Lauren Sherr.
