4th Annual TeeUp 4 Education Golf Tournament
Empowered To Win Global invites the community to step onto the green for a purpose-driven day of impact at the 4th Annual TeeUp 4 Education Golf Tournament. The event will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Fort Jackson Golf Club in Columbia, beginning with an 8:00 a.m. registration and a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
Designed to be much more than a traditional golf outing, the tournament connects business leaders, educators, and civic partners with a unified mission: equipping local youth with the mindset, leadership skills, and career preparation necessary to succeed.
With deep roots serving the state, Empowered To Win Global’s programs have already impacted up to 11,877 individuals, including over 8,200 students. Through strategic partnerships with local entities like Richland School District One, School District Five of Lexington & Richland Counties, and the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, the organization delivers high-impact workforce readiness and self-advocacy training that keeps students productive, engaged, and focused on their futures.
“When we invest in student leadership and career readiness, we are directly investing in the future workforce and civic leaders of Richland County,” said Kelly Simmons III, Founder and President of Empowered To Win Global. “This tournament allows our community’s leaders to demonstrate that they believe in our young people and are willing to provide the resources that shape their success.
Recognizing a growing need for constructive youth opportunities, Empowered To Win Global has set a milestone goal this year to award $10,000 in student scholarships, more than three times the amount distributed in previous years. All proceeds from the tournament will directly fund these scholarships, along with ongoing programs that build communication skills, personal responsibility, and career readiness.
Tournament Details
The TeeUp 4 Education tournament welcomes golfers of all skill levels and will follow a Captain’s Choice format with four-person teams.
Team Registration: $540
Individual Registration: $135
Highlights: The day will feature teamwork, networking, and awards for top teams, longest drive, and closest-to-the-pin contests.
