Local Girls Premiere Original Film at Columbia's Nickelodeon Theatre
Join H.E.R. Production Academy for the Freshman Film Premiere on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Nickelodeon Theatre in Columbia, SC. This special event showcases the work of local young women ages 11–19 who have spent the past year learning the art of filmmaking through hands-on training in screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, interviewing, and acting. The students will premiere an original film they created themselves, demonstrating their creativity, leadership, and storytelling skills. The evening will include the film screening, student recognition awards, and an opportunity to meet the young filmmakers during a post-show photo and autograph session.
