Fall in Love with Your New Best Friend Fundraiser
Annual event poised to raise funds for year-long programs
and help bring awareness to the homeless dog and cat population
Columbus Dog Connection’s annual fundraiser "Fall In Love With Your New Best Friend" is set for October 10, 2024, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Upper Arlington Veterinary Hospital 1515 W. Lane Ave. This fun event was designed to raise much-needed funds for the organization’s year-round programs and services.
The emcee for the night is Keri Croft, the host of the wildly entertaining and empowering podcast, The Keri Croft Show. Keri’s superpower is her ability to connect and celebrate her guests and she will bring a mix of authenticity and humor to this year’s event.
In addition, Maya Bizness, a gorgeous drag queen, host, and artist who believes in spreading joy and kindness will bring big smiles, photo opportunities, and positive energy to the event. Maya Bizness is dedicated to helping raise funds and awareness for homeless dogs and cats who need help.
Catering by Scott will provide an exquisite dining experience, and artists will be available to obtain your own “Poorly Drawn Pets” drawing. An award presentation will also be part of the event to recognize Columbus Dog Connections’ supporters and staff.
Additional unique "experiences" as well as a raffle and silent auction will further assist with the fundraising.
New this year will be a Swag Shop provided by long-time supporter, The Awesome Company. The Awesome Company, which empowers and employs autistic adults will have lots of cool and high-quality t-shirts as well as other special items. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Columbus Dog Connection.
