STEAM Sundays Space with Sally Jean Jensen

After 40 plus years of teaching upper elementary and middle school students about LIFE, in the name of science and social studies, Sally Jean Jensen is now working as a curriculum consultant. She is still teaching. She simply has a different audience. While still barely realizing her new adventure in working with teachers, she continues to find amazing connections in the world around her. Einstein said, "Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust; we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper." Einstein had an eloquent way with words and got to the very heart of it all. Another of her favorite quotes of Einstein is "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing." How fitting as she continues her quest as a NASA Solar System Ambassador Master Teacher. Join us every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. over the summer for fun, interactive activities featuring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Pick up a free STEAM Sundays passport & stamp it at each event. For every 4 stamps, you'll receive a prize of your choice from our treasure chest.
