Our grand finale brings Haydn’s last and greatest symphony to the stage—his jubilant farewell to the form he helped define. The evening opens with Prokofiev’s cheeky Classical Symphony and Saint-Saëns’ passionate Cello Concerto No. 1, performed by our exceptional principal cellist Isaac Pastor-Chernik. His playing combines fire, grace, and total command of the instrument.
