Using her bowls and cups as metaphors for human relationships Gill takes liberties within the outlines of the forms using hundreds of pieces of magazine paper chosen for color, value and pattern. Bold and complex compositions highlight these paintings or collages that make innovative use of reflextions and distortions. Her work in many mediums can be seen at www.soniagill.com.
