Texas BBQ Fest 2026
Celebrate National Brisket Day with smoke, flavor and community spirit at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s first-ever BBQ Fest on Thursday, May 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Original Dickey’s location near Knox Henderson in Dallas. As the iconic Texas barbecue brand marks 85 years of serving Legit. Texas. Barbecue.TM, guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon packed with live music, family-friendly fun, free samples from Rancher’s Premium Smokehouse, raffle prizes and mouthwatering barbecue — all to raise funds for those who risk it for the brisket.
The event will feature a friendly barbecue eating showdown between the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department and the Dallas Police Department, plus opportunities to win exciting prizes including a 50-inch smart TV, free barbecue for a year, a premium backyard grill and tickets to The Dickey Foundation’s Denim & Diamonds Gala. Proceeds from the event benefit The Dickey Foundation, which supports first responders nationwide by providing critical safety equipment, rescue gear and protective resources.
