ScholarShot Graduate Luncheon
The event brings together civic leaders, educators and supporters to celebrate the achievements of ScholarShot Scholars and the power of outcomes-driven education.
Honorary chairs for the luncheon are Pillar Commercial CEO Manny Ybarra and his wife Betsy, and Cathy McEachern is the event chair. WFAA reporter Natalie Haddad will emcee the program, which includes an alumni fireside chat with Cayro Bustos, a ScholarShot alumnus, SMU Dedman School of Law graduate and attorney at Dallas-based law firm, Perkins Coie. This year’s Scholar speaker is David Pere, a graduating senior at The University of Texas at Austin earning his bachelor’s degree in international relations, who will share his journey as a first-generation student.
