2024 Suicide Awareness & Prevention Sneaker Ball

Lace Up for Life: Inaugural Sneaker Ball Envision Partnerships is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities. 2024 marks 60 years of promoting positive behavioral health in Butler County. Their tagline, "Life is What You Make It," and the logo, symbolizing interconnectedness, reflect the unwavering commitment to promoting health and well-being. Lace up then Step up, support mental health, and strengthen our community! Confidential Confessions Counseling Services has partnered with Envision Partnerships 501(c)3 to bring The Suicide Awareness/ Prevention Sneaker Ball, a community-driven fundraiser designed to bring together individuals from all walks of life in support of a common cause. This year marks the inaugural event, making it a landmark occasion in our efforts to address mental health and suicide prevention in our region. Given the decline in diversity, equity, and inclusion funding, our primary focus is to sustain and support initiatives within the African American community that promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention. We aim to destigmatize and normalize conversations about mental health, breaking the silence surrounding these critical issues. Our goal is to strengthen advocacy efforts for mental wellness in individuals, families, and communities affected by suicide. Why Attend? Celebrate Excellence: Join us in applauding the Butler County Suicide Coalition Task Force for their dedicated efforts in serving the African American community through mental health awareness and suicide prevention initiatives. Support a Vital Cause: Participate in our event to champion mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Together, we are taking crucial steps to reduce stigma and increase awareness in our community. Every life matters. Connect and Network: This event provides a unique opportunity to build meaningful connections with like-minded guests by engaging with a diverse group of individuals who share a commitment to supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention. VIP ticket holders: are granted entry at 5:30 PM, 30 minutes prior to general admission. This early access includes exclusive entry to the auction, vendors, complimentary drinks, and photo opportunities before the general public. Vendor setup: will begin at 4:00 PM, and a limited number of tables and chairs will be available. For more information, please contact Nikki Hinnant at [email protected]. Join us for a night filled with food, music, dancing, silent auctions, and fly sneakers! A cash bar will be available. We can't wait to see you there!
