First Creek Restoration
Bring the whole family out to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge to enjoy a pleasant morning removing damaging invasive weeds and reseeding and planting beneficial native plants, all while enjoying this unique urban nature refuge. The Refuge provides vital habitat for a wide variety of species, including rare and endangered ones, and our work will help protect this important biodiversity. The Refuge is easily accessible, and at the end of our project we'll enjoy lunch together (provided by WRV) and all are invited to stay and explore the visitor center, wildlife drive and numerous walking trails.
Traer a toda la familia en el Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Rocky Mountain Arsenal para disfrutar de una mañana agradable eliminando malezas invasoras dañinas y resembrando y plantando plantas nativas beneficiosas, mientras disfrutas de este refugio natural urbano único. El Refugio proporciona hábitat vital para una amplia variedad de especies, incluyendo especies raras y en peligro de extinción, y nuestro trabajo ayudará a proteger esta importante biodiversidad. Es bien fácil llegar al refugio, y al final de nuestro proyecto disfrutamos de un almuerzo juntos (proporcionado por WRV) y todos están invitados a quedarse y explorar el centro de visita, el recorrido de vida silvestre y los numerosos senderos para caminar.
