Color of Fashion Teen Workshop: Denim Reimagined
Join Color of Fashion and Olivia McCann of Ephemeral Concrete for an upcycling workshop with denim. Ages 14 to 18.
Give your denim new life! In this hands-on workshop, designer Olivia McCann of Ephemeral Concrete will teach you how to transform pre-loved jeans and jackets into bold, expressive pieces of wearable art. You will embellish jeans with a combination of sewing on scrap patches of fabric, use fabric markers to draw out designs, and adorn with safety pins.
We encourage participants to bring any denim items they would like to adapt or upcycle. All other materials will be provided.
