Join us for The Author Afterparty on Saturday, September 19th at 6pm to celebrate the release of Castle Swimmer, Volume 4! Wendy Martin will be in conversation with fellow Iowa comic creator, Paula Sevenbergen, author of the comic book series Flow.

About the Book: Kappa and Siren descend deeper into the darkness of the ocean and uncover the harrowing truths of their own destinies in this thrilling fourth installment of the hit Webtoon series Castle Swimmer.
About the Authors:
Wendy Martin was born in the Midwest and grew up in Iowa. After graduating high school, she worked as a waitress and continued making comics on the side until Castle Swimmer, a story about two mermen, was picked up by Ten Speed Graphic and allowed her to draw comics full time. Castle Swimmer: Volume Four is her most recent graphic novel.
Paula Sevenbergen wrote for the WB television series STARGIRL for three seasons and has written stories for DC Comics, IDW, MAD MAGAZINE, and the (Un)Likeminded Podcast. She's also published essays in THE WASHINGTON POST and BUST MAGAZINE, among others. Currently, she's creating FLOW, a comic book series, and developing a TV project set in her home state of Iowa.
