Winter Concert “Ports of Call”
As our 50 year anniversary and Audition season continues, The Des Moines Community Orchestra, along with guest conductor Joshua Barlage invite you to join us for our exciting winter concert, “Ports of Call”.
From the streets of Seville to the shores of North Africa, the orchestra takes you on a musical Mediterranean holiday with music by Bizet, Verdi, Puccini, and more.
Principal cellist, Curtis Barr will be featured on Faure’s hauntingly beautiful “Elegie”.
