West Bloomfield Library Spring Book Sale: April 10–12 West Bloomfield, MI — The Friends of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library invite the community to the annual Spring Used Book Sale, a three day event offering thousands of gently used books at exceptional prices. The sale runs Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12, featuring a wide selection of fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, cookbooks, history, biography, Judaica, art, media and more. “Every book purchased helps strengthen the library’s programs and services,” said Roslyn Yerman of the Friends of the Library. “It’s one of the simplest and most enjoyable ways to support literacy and community learning.” Event Schedule • Friday, April 10 – Friends Members Only Preview Night (7–9 PM) Exclusive early access to the full collection. Memberships may be purchased at the door. • Saturday, April 11 – Public Sale (9 AM–5 PM) • Sunday, April 12 – Public Sale (12–3 PM) Bag Day – Buy a bag of books for $5.00 Supporting the Library Proceeds from the sale directly fund early literacy programs, children’s and teen events, author visits, technology upgrades, and special collections. The Friends’ book sales have become a cherished community tradition, bringing together readers of all ages while strengthening the library’s mission. Get Involved Community members can support the sale by attending, sharing the event with friends and neighbors, becoming a Friends member, or volunteering during sale hours or setup/cleanup days.
