DSO Winds Extraordinaire
Ring in the New Year with Detroit Symphony wind principals – oboist Alex Kinmonth, clarinetist Ralph Skiano, hornist Scott Strong and bassoonist Conrad Cornelison – as they rejoin pianist Pauline Martin for an exquisite program built around Beethoven’s Quintet for Piano and Winds.
Not surprisingly, the Hawk’s special partnership with CSD has seen attendance more than double since CSD’s first season at the Hawk in 2021, opening with the renowned Ehnes Quartet. Delivering “compelling, inspiring and stunning” performances, artistic director Pauline Martin and her outstanding colleagues epitomize the essence of chamber music.
