On behalf of Kevin Collons, Chris Barone, Howard Cates, and myself, we hope you are all doing as great as possible!

After careful consideration, we are making some changes to the “Gus Open”. By that we mean less of a focus on “rowdy” golf, and an emphasis on hosting an event EVERYONE can attend on a convenient day and time. On Saturday June 20th, we will gather for a tailgate at Stateside Live and then head across the street to a Phillies / Mets evening game. The focus will be gathering together to catch up with our brothers while enjoying good food and beverages in a relaxed atmosphere. Later on, we will all be in the same section for the Phillies game. To round out the weekend, a Sunday Father’s Day brunch at Cavanaugh’s River Deck will be offered, and a Monday Alumni only golf outing at Phoenixville Country Club. You will be able to attend some or all of the events as you choose. Please see the following weekend outline and registration details.

    $75 for game ticket only (adults and children)
    $60 for pregame party only, $35 for anyone under 21

11:30 AM – 2:30 PM at Cavanaugh’s Riverdeck to include:

• Numerous brunch buffet items, including a carving station
• Well Drinks
• Domestic Beer & Seltzer
• Premium well optional upgrades for $3.00 (charged per drink to save you money)

You are encouraged to invite Theta Chi brothers’ fathers as well!!

Supervised kids’ events, including cornhole tournaments and face painting, so the adults can enjoy themselves!!

Brother Chumley is our host at Phoenixville Country Club for the Gus.

Noon shotgun start. Food and drinks before and after the event are included. More details to follow.

We hope everyone likes what we are trying to do here. We feel these new events allow us to spend more time together instead of randomly meeting on the same tee box. ALL DAY & NIGHT Saturday we will be in the same spot, plus a few hours Sunday and Monday, all while sitting together at the Phillies game!

We will also be offering a discounted hotel rate for those that are interested.
