The 9th Annual South Philly SausageFest kicks off this year on Saturday, September 20, 12 noon-7 pm, on West Passyunk Avenue at South Broad Street.

This year's festival will feature four food trucks and two restaurants serving all kinds of great sausage -- from BBQ links to Bacon-on-a-Stick to classic South Philly sausage with onions and peppers.

Six local breweries -- including local favorites BreweryARS, Cartesian Brewing, and Second District -- will also be serving up some special summer and fall suds to help the sausage go down.

This year's musical line-up will feature some classic blues and hard driving rock-and-roll performed by the Philadelphia School of Rock and other local acts.

In addition to the sausage, beer, and rock-and-roll, over 20 arts & crafts vendors, and 40 antiquers will be spreading out their wares for a fund afternoon.
