Rhythm on the River
The 5th Annual AnMed Rhythm on the River Festival returns to MJ “Dolly” Cooper Park in Powdersville, SC, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run starting at 10:00 AM. This free, family-friendly festival celebrates music, community, and the scenic Saluda River with live performances from The Travelin’ McCourys, Steve Ray Ladson, Tobacco Road, Jackson Truluck & The Gravel Road Show, and Buddha Libre. Attendees can enjoy a riverfront 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run with prizes and themed costumes, interactive games and activities in the KidsZone at “Sal’s Sandlot,” over 50 local artisans and craftspeople, and a variety of food trucks. Presented by AnMed and hosted by Anderson County in partnership with Connect Powdersville, Rhythm on the River brings together families, music lovers, and the community for a day of fun, fitness, and entertainment along the beautiful Saluda River.
