Honoring Our Heroes: Veteran Pinning Ceremony at Juniper Village at Mount Joy
The community is invited to join Juniper Village at Mount Joy for a heartfelt Veteran Pinning Ceremony honoring the brave men and women who served our nation. This special tribute is open to all — whether you're a veteran, a family member, or simply someone who wants to say thank you.
Amedisys Hospice and veteran volunteer William Jackson will lead the ceremony, with the Red Rose Honor Guard presenting the colors. Each veteran in attendance will receive a special pin and certificate in recognition of their service. The ceremony will also honor military spouses in remembrance of their late loved ones — families wishing to include a spouse in this tribute are welcome to make that request when they RSVP.
Members of the wider Mount Joy and Lancaster community are warmly welcomed to attend and take part in honoring our veterans. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
When: Wednesday, July 15, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
