Watch the Sunset over the Susquehanna! 1.5 hour Sunset Cruises give small groups (up to 16 passengers) the chance to roam the historic Chief Uncas for a personalized relaxing evening experience. Bring aboard food and B.Y.O.B. alcoholic beverages to enjoy as the Chief Uncas silently cruises under the setting sun. Store your cold drinks in the vintage ice box and use the boat’s Bluetooth speakers to play your favorite music. A knowledgeable crew member is aboard as your guide to answer questions or give a tour of the river. The perfect experience for a date night or fun time with friends! Sunset Cruises depart from the Zimmerman Center dock on Fridays and Saturdays during SNHA's Boat Tour Season. View the schedule to see cruise availability. Departure time changes depending on the summer and fall season. What's included 1.5 hour evening cruise at Sunset bring aboard food and drinks freely roam and explore the historic 112-year-old tour boat have a personal boat tour by tour guide on board bring aboard BYOB alcoholic beverages play music on the bluetooth speaker system Ticket Cost Tickets cost $50 per person. Due to popularity, advance reservations are advised! The cost of each ticket goes directly toward care, maintenance, storage, and tour operations of the Chief Uncas. Passenger Guidelines Passengers must be capable of navigating the boat ramp, dock, and boarding the Chief Uncas. Passengers must navigate a staircase of 3 metal grated stairs with handrail to reach the height of the boat’s entrance. Then passengers must navigate the 3 step ladder into the boat with assistance of handrails. SNHA's Crew and Captain are always present to provide additional assistance with boarding. Per US Coastguard recommendation children must be at least 6 months old to experience a tour aboard the Chief Uncas. SNHA reserves the right to deny service to individuals or groups in the interest of their own safety or the safety of other passengers, and to any person whose behavior is unacceptable, intrusive, or dangerous to other persons.
