Master Gardener Susan Eisenhandler gives us a look into indigenous plants and transplants circa 1776. Join us to learn about our forefathers’ gardening scene.
Please join us for a ‘back to the future’ moment highlighting the 1776 plantscape in Connecticut. Native and non-native plants, useful and delightful, that were found 250 years ago will be featured. Some will be familiar and others new acquaintances. All may be grown today in our Nutmeg state gardens and yards.
RSVP: bristollib.com, in-person at the library, or by calling: 860.584.7787 x 3. No charge. 18+
