Kapolei Chinese New Year Celebration
From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., guests are invited to gather near Sushi Bay as the renowned Wah Ngai Lion Dance Association brings the celebration to life. Watch in awe as the lions showcase breathtaking athleticism, leaping and balancing atop elevated platforms in a dramatic table-jumping performance that symbolizes strength, courage, and prosperity.
Following the performance, the lions—accompanied by lively drummers and cymbals—will parade throughout the shopping center, stopping to bless participating merchant locations and invite good luck for the year ahead. Spectators can join in the tradition by “feeding” the lions and capturing unforgettable moments on camera.
Complimentary fortune cookies will be shared with attendees while supplies last.
